Why I Love Vegas
I love Vegas! I really do! I know it’s not for everyone, but there’s just something about this city that I can’t help but find intriguing and exciting. Maybe it’s the constant hustle and bustle, the never-ending stream of bright lights and flashy signage. Or, perhaps, it’s the great weather and scenic desert topography that gets me. Whatever it is, there’s just something about Las Vegas that I can’t get enough of.
And while I do love spending time on the Strip, there’s so much more to this city than just the casinos and nightclubs. I love exploring all the different neighborhoods, from the historic downtown area to the artsy Fremont East district. There’s just so much to see and do in Las Vegas. Also, we can’t forget the professional sports including the NFL’s Raiders, the NHL’s Gladiators, and the WNBA’s championship team Aces. In fact, did you know the Aces are the first pro sports team to win a championship in Vegas history?
With legalized medical and recreational marijuana to an overall sense of community, the Las Vegas Valley is a place where you can be yourself.
The Nature
One of my favorite things about this valley is the fact that it’s surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery you could think of. Just a short drive away from the city you’ll find stunning desert landscapes, majestic mountains, protected desert plant life, and so much more. From the Red Rock National Conservation Area to Mount Charleston, living here makes sense for those who love nature! Another thing I like to do is travel to Hoover Dam, it’s such an interesting area to say the least.
