Summerlin Golf Courses
If you read yesterday’s blog, I had to head to Summerlin to show my clients a few Carmel Cliff homes for sale. While I was out there, I thought what a good idea it would be to blog about the golf courses in Summerlin. So late on this Sunday evening, I have listed every Summerlin course I can think of. Please note, some are public, and some are private.
TPC Las Vegas
First up is TPC Las Vegas, designed by Bobby Weed and Raymond Floyd. This course is the perfect mix of challenging and enjoyable. I love its rolling fairways and perfectly manicured greens. Plus, you get to experience what it’s like to play on the same greens as the pros. How cool is that?
Arroyo Course at Red Rock Country Club
If you’re looking for something truly breathtaking, you can’t go wrong with the Arroyo Course at Red Rock Country Club. Designed by none other than Arnold Palmer, this is pure golfing heaven. The Arroyo features wide fairways, elevated greens, and plenty of water features. It is exciting to say the least.
Mountain Course At Red Rock (Private)
The Mountain Course at Red Rock is a private course that offers an exclusive golfing experience. The course is set in a beautiful natural environment. It features challenging holes. With immaculate greens and fairways, Arnold did everything right here. Seriously, if you ever get a chance to take a wing here, do it.
Siena Golf Club
Siena Golf Club was created by Schmidt-Curley Design. The course is jam-packed with beautiful water features, rolling fairways, and challenging greens that will test even the most hardcore golfers. Personally, I like the clubhouse. They have good food and I know the staff well (so I’d say they are friendly). Bottom line is this, Siena is a good one.
TPC Summerlin (Private)
If you’re looking for a top-notch course that hosts PGA Tour events, the Bobby Weed and Fuzzy Zoeller-designed TPC Summerlin is it! Having the Red Rock Mountains as a backdrop, the lush green fairways are a total and complete blast. This course is one of my all-time favs. You’ll need to bring your A-game, though, as it’s known for being difficult. Can you handle it?
Eagle Crest Golf Course
Eagle Crest Golf Course is very special. The course features rolling fairways and challenging holes. With its relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, Eagle Crest is a great place to enjoy golf with friends and family. BTW, Billy Casper and Greg Nash designed it. If you’ve never tried it, I’m telling you right now you should.
Bear’s Best Las Vegas In The Ridges
Designed by legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus, Bear’s Best is a must-play! You can’t call yourself an enthusiast if you haven’t played Bear’s Best. The 18 holes are replicas of some of Nicklaus’ favorite holes worldwide. And with its stunning topography, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a more picturesque environment.
Highland Falls Golf Club
Highland Falls Golf Club is a public golf course that Billy Casper and Greg Nash designed. It has rolling fairways and elevated greens. With its excellent amenities and friendly staff, Highland Falls is a great place to spend a day on the greens. In Vegas, baby!
Palm Valley Golf Course
Another course by Billy Casper and Greg Nash, Palm Valley Golf Course is what playing the game is all about. I like this course for those of all skill levels. The course features wide fairways, challenging bunkers, and what I call genuinely epic scenery. Like I said, it’s a good course for all arounders.
The Summit Club (Private)
Last but certainly not least is The Summit Club, a private course created by the legendary Tom Fazio. The views alone are worth the trip! And the course itself? It’s not for the faint of heart. But if you’re up for a challenge? You won’t find a better place to tee off. With world-class amenities and a staff that’s dedicated to making your experience unforgettable, The Summit Club is as beautiful as the ocean (it’s just greener).
